Before you begin
You will need:- Google enabled under Settings → Mail → Providers
- Access to the Google account being connected
Where to start
- Open Settings → Mail in the Stuut dashboard.
- Find Google in the Providers section.
- Ask an organization administrator to enable Google if it is disabled.
- Go to the Mailboxes section.
- Click Add mailbox to begin authorization for an individual mailbox.
How authorization works
- Select the type of mailbox you want to add.
- Choose Google as the provider.
- Sign into the specific Google account being connected.
- Review and approve the requested permissions.
- Return to Stuut and confirm that the mailbox appears as connected.
Connecting one Google mailbox does not authorize or connect other Google mailboxes.

No Google Calendar or Contacts access is requested.
Connect a shared mailbox
- Open Settings → Mail.
- Click Add mailbox.
- Select Shared mailbox.
- Select Google.
- Continue to Google sign-in.
- Sign in using the shared account’s credentials—not your personal Google account.
- Review and approve the requested permissions.
- Return to Stuut and confirm that the mailbox is connected.
Connect a personal mailbox
- Open Settings → Mail.
- Click Add mailbox.
- Select Personal mailbox.
- Select Google if prompted.
- Sign into your Google account.
- Review and approve the requested permissions.
- Return to Stuut and confirm that the mailbox appears as connected.
