Connect Ask Stuut to Claude or Cursor so you can ask about your AR data without leaving the AI tools you already use.
Ask Stuut MCP access is enabled per organization. If you see a message that it isn’t enabled, contact your CSM.

The Ask Stuut MCP connects AI assistants such as Claude and Cursor to your live Stuut data through MCP (Model Context Protocol), the standard way AI assistants connect to outside tools.Once connected, you can ask about outstanding balances, collector activity, tasks, and more from inside your assistant, and combine Stuut’s answers with your other connected tools. It’s the same Ask Stuut you use in the dashboard, available where you already work.

Claude and Cursor are supported today. Other MCP-compatible assistants may work but aren’t officially supported yet. ChatGPT support is on the roadmap.
Is it secure? Do I have to give my AI tool my Stuut password?
Is it secure? Do I have to give my AI tool my Stuut password?
No. You never enter Stuut credentials or API keys into your AI assistant. When you connect, you sign in through the normal Stuut sign-in page and approve access.
- The connection is read-only. Your assistant can’t change anything in Stuut.
- You only see data your Stuut account can already see. Your assistant can’t switch to another organization.
- Each person signs in with their own Stuut account.

Add a custom connector
In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.

Enter the Stuut server
Give it a name, such as
Ask Stuut, and enter the URL https://api.stuut.co/mcp/. Leave the OAuth Client ID and Client Secret fields blank.3
Sign in with Stuut
Click Connect, approve the access request, and sign in with your normal Stuut credentials.

Start asking
Start a new conversation and ask a question, like “What are our top 10 overdue balances?”

Add an MCP server
Go to Cursor Settings → Integrations & MCP → Add MCP server and choose Remote HTTPS.

Sign in with Stuut
Enable the server, click Login / Authenticate, approve access, and sign in with Stuut. Cursor returns you to the app when you’re done.

Ask Stuut reads from Stuut’s analytics data, which can lag the live app by up to about 4 hours. The MCP uses the same data as Ask Stuut and Analytics.

- I can’t find the connector. If your company publishes connectors centrally, your admin or IT team hasn’t published or enabled it yet.
- Sign-in works, but the tool doesn’t respond. Make sure you signed in with the right Stuut account, that it’s active, and that Ask Stuut MCP access is enabled for your user.
- “Ask Stuut MCP is not enabled for this organization.” Contact your CSM to turn it on.
