# Set up SSO

> Configure a SAML or OIDC connection for your organization.

Stuut manages SAML and OIDC connections through [**Auth0**](https://auth0.com/), our identity broker.

Stuut provides a secure self-serve setup link that your identity provider (IdP) administrator uses to configure the connection.

## Before you begin

You will need:

* The self-serve SSO setup link provided by Stuut
* An IdP administrator who can configure your organization's SAML or OIDC connection

You do not need to send Stuut any IdP configuration details before starting. Your IdP administrator enters the required details directly in the setup flow.

<Warning>
  The setup link expires after five days and has a click limit. Avoid opening it repeatedly before your IdP administrator is ready to complete the setup.
</Warning>

## Configure SSO

1. Open the self-serve SSO setup link provided by Stuut.
2. Complete the SAML or OIDC configuration using your IdP details.
3. Notify your Stuut contact after the setup flow is complete.

## After setup

After you confirm that the setup flow is complete, Stuut will finish enabling SSO for your organization.

## Troubleshooting

### The setup link expired or cannot be opened

Contact your Stuut representative. Stuut will generate a new setup link.

### The setup cannot be completed

If your IdP administrator cannot complete the self-serve flow, contact your Stuut representative. Stuut can switch your organization to a manual SSO setup process and collect the required IdP details directly.
